On February 1, 2007 Dr. h.c. D. Veerendra Heggade,
Dharmadhikari of
Dharmasthala, Karnataka (India) honoured a number of researchers in the
field of Jaina studies on the occasion of the Dharmasthala
Mahâmastakâbhisheka, among them Prof. Zydenbos, who later spoke a word
of thanks on behalf of those honoured.

On Febr. 7th, 2006 a short article appeared in the newspaper Münchner Merkur about Jainism, the Mahâmastakâbhisheka of Shravanabelagola and R. Zydenbos' research trip. A digital scan of the article in JPG format (size: approx. 1.1 MB) is downloadable here.
In 2006 Prof. Zydenbos and E. Glasbrenner, MA, in
München founded the new Manya Verlag, a small
publishing
firm with the aim of producing books that contain Indologically correct
information about India and Indian culture and nevertheless are
readable also for non-specialists in the field.
